| Episode 1x01 - "Sanctuary for All, Part I": Near the end of the episode, after receiving stitches in the infirmary of the Old City Sanctuary, Ashley Magnus tells her mother Helen Magnus that she has to be on the Eastside of Old City in twenty minutes to meet Sylvio Rudd for a weapons buy. Magnus however disagreed with Ashley leaving, preferring for Ashley to stay inside for the rest of the night. | |
| Episode 1x02 - "Sanctuary for All, Part II": Sylvio Rudd is wounded by John Druitt when Druitt had sought out Ashley Magnus during Sylvio's and Ashley's meeting at an warehouse on the Eastside of Old City. Sylvio eventually recovered enough to make his way through the warehouse to help Ashley, taking out Druitt by tasering him. Henry Foss was then called for transport; bringing the van to pick up Ashley and Druitt. Sylvio tagged along with them on their ride home, being dropped off at Doctor Lim's along the way back to the Old City Sanctuary. | |
| Episode 1x03 - "Fata Morgana": Sylvio Rudd provided incomplete information to Helen Magnus and Ashley Magnus, failing to notify them of the keepers of the dead (or just the sheer amount of them) protecting the crypt on the island in Scotland. This 'intel failure' which ultimately led the Sanctuary team to enter unaware into a bad and potentially deadly situation is a reason for why Magnus doesn't like to work with him (except to purchase weapons). | |
| Episode 1x05 - "Kush": Sylvio Rudd accompanied Magnus and Will Zimmerman to the Himalayas to capture a yeti. However, the creature they captured was actually a migoi posing as a yeti. During transport, the migoi caused the plane to crash in the Hindu Kush. Shortly after the crash, the migoi killed Sylvio, tricking him into believing he was seeing his significant other Giselle. Upon discovery of his body the next morning, Magnus noted that the Sanctuary Network had lost a valuable member of their team. |

- Trivia: Sylvio Rudd is a duplicate / replacement character in the TV series for Ernie Watts, the web series's arms dealer.
- Casting: Panou plays Sylvio Rudd, an associate of Ashley Magnus's. The character was originally named Ernie Watts and was played by director Peter DeLuise in the webisodes, but he was unavailable to reshoot his scenes for the season premiere.[1]
