Going Green
Green-screen video production marries camera hardware with computer software. Virtually everything you see in many Sanctuary scenes - besides the actors - is "projected" onto green screens on set by computers during post-production.

Notes[]

  • Trivia: The Syfy.com website has been updated and rebranded since the end of the TV series. Though the cancellation of Sanctuary was announced on May 21st, 2012, the website continued to display Sanctuary content until at least two years later into mid-2014. During phasing out, the URLs were turned into hidden pages on the website itself, yet still accessible through old browser bookmarks. At some point not too long later, all Sanctuary content was completely removed/deleted.
    • Trivia: Obsolete Syfy.com Sanctuary content can still be partially viewed through use of an internet archive website called the Wayback Machine, which records and stores snapshots of website pages for historical preservation purposes.
  • Trivia: Aside from Sanctuary, other Syfy TV series include: "Stargate SG-1", "Stargate Atlantis", "Stargate Universe", "Battlestar Galactica", and "Eureka".
