Sanctuary One

Sanctuary One is either a utility or transport helicopter used by the Sanctuary Network.

History[]

	Sanctuary One approaching Lophelia. Episode 1x06 - "Nubbins": Helen Magnus, Ashley Magnus, and Will Zimmerman used it to reach the Lophelia after contact to the ship was lost due to the death of all crewmembers.

Speculation: The helicopter's name Sanctuary One may have been a reference to the callsign Marine One, in which the helicopter's identification number is substituted when the President of the United States is on board; meaning that whenever Magnus (the head of the global Sanctuary Network) is in a vehicle, it adopts this callsign. However, this theory doesn't completely hold true when later in the series Magnus charters a helicopter ^[1] and also flies the Talon ^[2] ^[3]; indicating Sanctuary One may just be the name of the helicopter and not a callsign after all. Either that, or alternatively it may have originally been Magnus's callsign and the writer's simply forgot and or intentionally decided not to continue on with using the callsign in subsequent episodes.
