The Monrovia Sanctuary is the branch of the Sanctuary Network located in Monrovia, Liberia.

 Due to recent political unrest and losing access to their usual local bank accounts in early 2011, the Monrovia Sanctuary required a withdrawal from a private Network account with 'enough' cash to keep them financially afloat for a short while (the cash was intended to be used as a bribe to keep this Sanctuary in league with their new government). Unfortunately, Will Zimmerman got mugged on the return trip from the bank while he was carrying the payment. The Monrovia Sanctuary's head of house Yusuf found Will on the side of the road and transported him to nearby shelter; tending to Will at his cousin's house (briefly leaving to fetch a doctor) until Will was well enough to travel. | |
