A lower level is the term used for a floor level of the Old City Sanctuary that is located below ground level (sub-level). These levels are the main "abnormal housing" section of the facility were the Sanctuary team primarily, in particular Helen Magnus, do their abnormal medical and scientific work.
This section of the facility is referenced as "lower levels" by Helen Magnus in Episode 1x10 - "Warriors" and by Will Zimmerman in Episode 3x12 - "Hangover".
Areas featured in this section are:
- An ICU.
- An Isolation area.
- The Morrígan are seen being held in specific area.[1]
- A medical recess area.
- This area is in a 'wing' just off of the main lab like Henry's array. It is were Helen Magnus introduces James Watson to Will Zimmerman.[2]
- The medical recess area contains a ct scanner and small research lab.
- Observation area with attached observation deck.[3]
- A river pool.[1]
