Web Series

	Episode 0x01 - "Webisode 1": Larry Tolson was shot and injured while being taken into custody; the Old City Police Department regarding him as a suspect in a homicide.

Notes

• Continuity: Resulting from the rewrite, the character of Larry Tolson in the web series was replaced by the criminal Vern Kovacs in the TV series.
• Casting / Trivia: The producers were hoping to cast David Hewlett, another "Stargate" alum, in a guest spot during season 2; however, this was met by scheduling issues, as he was shooting a film at the time. Despite this, the producers were confident they would cast Hewlett "eventually".
  • Note: The return of David Hewlett on Sanctuary never came to be.
  • Speculation: It is unknown if David Hewlett would have returned in the same role of Larry Tolson similar to how the role of Ernie Watts played by Peter DeLuise returned in season 3, or if Hewlett would portray a completely new character similar to actor Matty Finochio; who played one-shot character Zach Spencer in season 1 (a character that died) and returned as twice-recurring character Virgil St. Pierre in season 3.
