The Kellorem device is a powerful form of anti-matter that was created by Praxis. Adam Worth believed it had infinite possibilities and uses, but the Praxian government believed it was too unstable for its' energy to be harnessed.
History[]
Season 3[]
Episode 3x11 - "Pax Romana": Despite their warning, Adam Worth experimented with the device while in Praxis. His continuum experiments destroyed an entire section of the city and killed 200 citizens. It's for this reason the Praxians executed him. However, decades later Fallon resurrected Worth and helped him escape to the surface. Worth promised Fallon that if she helped him he'd help her by giving her control over Praxis' defense systems so she could lead a revolution against the city. Worth then infected himself and Helen Magnus with radiation poisoning knowing she'd go to Praxis to get the cure. ![]() Adam Worth stealing the Kellorem device from Praxis. ![]() The Kellorem device along with a bloody message left by John Druitt. | |
Episode 3x20 - "Into the Black": Later it was revealed that John Druitt and Adam Worth had made a deal. Worth told Druitt that he planned to use the device to create a time machine that'd allow him to go back to the past and save his daughter Imogene Worth's life. Worth promised Druitt if he'd let him live, then he'd take Druitt with him back to the Spring of 1886 to prevent the Five from ever using the source blood; Druitt's hope was that this alteration to the timeline would result in him having never become Jack the Ripper, a different life which would had allowed both he and Helen Magnus to have been together and raised children. Because of this temptation, Druitt let Worth write down a copy of the device's specifications before sending it back to Praxis in order to create his own device later. Worth eventually did create his time machine and it was powered by his copy of the device. He used it to go back in time to late 19th century London, but also destroyed Praxis in his experimenting. |
