Darrin Damon Wilson is a U.S. citizen born in Vancouver, British Columbia with a street address in Surrey B.C.. He is the roommate and friend of Chad Spencer, a fellow patient at the detox clinic in Mexico. Darrin was a pre-med student that dropped out of med school because the "parties were lame".

| Episode 2x10 - "Sleepers": In December 2009, Darrin Wilson was met by Chad Spencer in a parking lot garage in New City two days after Chad's car accident. While there, Chad broke his neck, turning him into an instant vampire. Before Darrin revived, Chad had put his body in the trunk of his car and drove off. Two days before Helen and Will watched the security footage of Darrin's murder and abduction, he was reported missing by his family. Once Darrin was a vampire, he helped Chad convert three other friends of theirs that had also spent time down at the detox clinic with them. Searching for answers, Darrin hired a computer hacker to break through Dr. Baumschlager's firewalls at the Mexican clinic, giving him access to Nikola Tesla's research. While looking through the files, he found an article written by Tesla explaining the history of Sanguine vampiris, describing vampires as a once powerful ancient race that used to rule the world as kings and pharaohs. He informed Chad and the others about this discovery, giving the group the idea to try to 'take over the world'. After figuring out that a bite from a vampire won't convert a normal person (as depicted in human entertainment, such as movies and television shows), Darrin and the others decided to kidnap Tesla. Using his own medical knowledge as well as Tesla's notes and blood, Darrin tried to recreate Tesla's experiment to pump out more vampires. This plan however was stopped when the Old City Sanctuary team got involved. Darrin was the third person devamped by Nikola Tesla. Right after devamping him, Nikola commented to Darrin that he "should have stayed in med school" just before knocking him out cold. |
