Captain Carol Franklin is an influential member of the Old City Police Department, having attained the rank of captain as well as having sway with the Old City Mayor's office.

Biography

Season 4

Episode 4x12 - "Sanctuary for None, Part I": Captain Franklin is a former colleague of Will Zimmerman. Captain Franklin was contacted by Helen Magnus in Magnus's effort's the set up the homeland project in the Fifth Ward. Captain Franklin waiting in her unmarked police cruiser for Will Zimmerman to arrive. Because of this connection, Will blackmailed her to set up a fake meeting so Will could arrest Magnus. Franklin is last seen being ordered by Will to call for police backup when Magnus flees the entrapment attempt.

• Name: During the DVD commentary for Episode 4x12 - "Sanctuary for None, Part I", it is revealed to the audience that the character's name "Franklin" was based on the street name in the local filming area of "Franklin" and "Victoria". Damian Kindler believes her first name is "Carol".
