Season 4[]
Episode 4x12 - "Sanctuary for None, Part I": Around 9:00 AM PST, Will Zimmerman and Jebal were saved by Caleb and his followers from a violent gang of humans. Caleb had Will Zimmerman take Jebal back to the Old City Sanctuary and set up a meeting with Helen Magnus under the pretense that Caleb wanted to end any hostilities between the Hollow Earth abnormals and the human race on the surface. During the meeting, Caleb wanted to build a new homeland for his people on the surface in Old City's Fifth Ward. Helen Magnus agreed that humans and abnormals should be able to live together. Despite Will Zimmerman's objection, Helen Magnus invited Caleb up into her study, and from there they planned the homeland project. Helen Magnus was happy to help the Hollow Earth abnormals build a new home and gave Caleb the Sanctuary Network's full support. Helen Magnus recalled Kate Freelander from Hollow Earth to help organize and setup the operation on location. While Caleb was initially skeptical about her (calling a her "a bit of a wildcard"), Caleb was very pleased with the quality of the quick progress that Kate Freelander was able create in such a short amount of time. When Caleb noticed the promise band that Kate Freelander was wearing, he was very happy and supportive of her future with Garris. | |
Episode 4x13 - "Sanctuary for None, Part II": It was discovered Caleb wasn't hoping to create a future where humans and abnormals could live together; Caleb wanted himself and his people to be rulers of the human race. Caleb created a virus from the source blood that was stored in Praxis before it was destroyed; his plan was to release the virus and infect every human on the planet. The virus would awaken the dormant abnormal genes in human DNA causing severe mutations thereby turning every human on the planet into an abnormal. However, Bigfoot stole the virus from Caleb's office before he could unleash it and gave it to Bruno Delacourt, who subsequently brought it to Helen Magnus. After killing Bigfoot, Caleb and a small group of fellow Hollow Earth abnormal insurgents went to the Old City Sanctuary to kill Helen Magnus and take the virus back. However, Helen Magnus (who was on home turf) was able to retain the upper hand and kill Caleb, his team, and destroy the Old City Sanctuary to presumably fake her death. |
