Bermuda Triangle[]
The Bermuda Triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels are alleged to have mysteriously disappeared and cannot be explained as human error, piracy, equipment failure, or natural disasters.[3]
Milwaukee Deep[]
The Milwaukee Deep is the deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean and is part of the Puerto Rico Trench. It has a maximum depth of at least 27,493 feet (8,380 m), and lies on the southern edge of the famous Bermuda Triangle.[4]
![]() The majority of merfolk lived in the Milwaukee Deep found within the Bermuda Triangle. In 2008, Helen Magnus and Will Zimmerman were in the area aboard the Sanctuary submarine Nautilus to investigate the whereabouts of the merfolk after Sally was contacted by her people. After listening to Henry Foss and Will talk about all the mysteries of the Triangle, Magnus assured them both that there were no portals to other dimensions, no alien abductions, or any other paranormal occurrences in the Triangle. Aside from a high concentration of abnormal sea life living here, the Triangle is just a body of water. When Magnus and Will find the merfolk massacred, they encounter the undersea parasite responsible for their self-destruction. |

The Indian Ocean is the third largest body of water on Earth, covering about 20% of the water on the Earth's surface.[6]
